GALT FOUNDATION COVID-19 DISASTER RELIEF FUND
In response to the public health disaster caused by Coronavirus, Galt Foundation has created the Galt Foundation COVID-19 Disaster Relief Fund (the “Fund”) to provide qualified aid to our employees who experience financial hardship as a result of COVID-19. The Fund will provide eligible employees with necessary family or living expenses, including housing, medical, food and other common expenses.Galt’s mission to provide, promote, and expand employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities is rooted in the belief that employment empowers the individual to live independently. Providing qualified financial support for necessary living expenses to Galt employees impacted by the COVID-19 public health disaster assists in maintaining independence and wellbeing during the current crisis.
The Fund has been established by the Board of Directors and payments will be available to eligible employees during the federal disaster or until the Fund has been exhausted, whichever comes first.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
All employees actively employed by Galt as of March 15th, 2020 who experience financial hardship as a result of COVID-19 are eligible to apply for qualified support.For example, an employee may be eligible if they experience financial hardship because of a government stay-at-home order, self-quarantine, or a presumed or confirmed case of COVID-19 to the employee or a family member.

Employees can apply for funds using the botton below to complete a short questionnaire.Please know you will be asked to provide appropriate documentation when you request funds. You may also be required to provide appropriate documentation after the funds are spent. Examples of what documentation is required are provided by category below.
